"Lagrimas de San Lorenzo is the popular name of the Perseids in Spain, a meteor shower related to the constellation of Perseus in the summer of the Northern Hemisphere. It is a painting with a lot of sensuality and the most melancholy of this series. Based on a triangular composition where the central figure or scene is placed inside a triangle, giving stability to the image. In the Renaissance, 'the triangle' composition was used to mark the limits between the crucial subjects and the others. This painting creates a perspective with a superimposed second triangle, the Cats".
