This illustration describes my experiences of overstimulation in a tumultuous year. So much is happening around us these days. This is reflected in how the figure is simultaneously being assailed by a swarm of buzzing bees, and burying her face in a flower to block her vision.. She’s a depiction of the desire to shut everything out, when everything around us is too much to bear.
