DCG London is proud to present the highly anticipated solo exhibition by master painter Fatima Ronquillo opening it’s doors in March 2026. Born in San Fernando, Philippines in 1976, and now based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Ronquillo is a self-taught artist whose classically inspired imagery inhabits a space between serenity and enchantment. Her mysterious personages, often set against pastoral landscapes, blend the techniques of European old masters with magical realism rooted in folk and colonial Latin American traditions. Drawing on her deep engagement with 16th- and 17th-century European painting, Ronquillo infuses her compositions with symbolism, poetic narratives, and a lyrical balance of light and shadow. The exhibition invites viewers into a contemplative universe where history, imagination, and the fragile beauty of human and natural worlds converge, evoking both romance and introspection.
