DCG ARTISTS 2025 HIGHLIGHTS

August 29, 2025

In 2025, Dorothy Circus Gallery proudly partnered with leading brands and international institutions to present our artists in new and inspiring contexts. Among the many collaborations, three milestones stood out for their resonance and scale.

GIHUN LEE x MERCEDES-BENZ AND ÜBERFISCH

During a month-long residency in Berlin, Gihun Lee created an entirely new body of work that was unveiled at the Urban Art Event hosted by Mercedes-Benz and Überfisch. This collaboration not only positioned Lee at the crossroads of contemporary art and global brand culture, but also introduced his unique visual language to an international audience of collectors and tastemakers. The event underscored his rapid ascent as one of the most promising voices of his generation.

ANDREA KOWCH AT THE FORT WAYNE MUSEUM OF ART

A defining moment of the year came with the acquisition of Andrea Kowch’s Matriarch by the Fort Wayne Museum of Art. Originally part of the Dorothy Circus Gallery Collection, the work now forms a centerpiece of the museum’s landmark exhibition Truthful Illusions: Realism in the Age of Abstraction. This institutional recognition not only celebrates Kowch’s mastery in contemporary realism, but also highlights DCG’s commitment to supporting artists whose works resonate within both private and public collections.
