"In Untitled #1 Shamsia Hassani presents us with a girl in a field, dressed in a simple yet beautiful dress of deep blue. Despite being surrounded by nature, the field around her appears barren, a dull yellow, much like the sky stretching above her. Behind her looms a tank-a symbol of war.
The girl, with her eyes closed, seems lost in her thoughts, as if trying to escape from that oppressive reality, yearning for peace. On her dress is a patch depicting a dandelion: a symbol of desire. And just like those dandelions, which seem to almost vanish in the wind, the field around her also bears their remnants: fragments of dreams that fly away."
"In Untitled 1#, Shamsia Hassani ci presenta una ragazza in un campo, vestita con un abito semplice e splendido, di un blu intenso. Nonostante si trovi immersa nella natura, il campo che la circonda appare arido, di un giallo spento, come il cielo che si stende sopra di lei. Dietro di lei incombe un carro armato, simbolo della guerra.
La ragazza, con gli occhi chiusi, sembra essere persa nei suoi pensieri, come se cercasse di fuggire da quella realtà opprimente, desiderosa di pace. Sulle sue vesti c'è una pezza che raffigura un soffione, simbolo di desiderio. E proprio come quei soffioni, che nel vento sembrano quasi svanire, anche nel campo intorno a lei ne troviamo i resti: frammenti di sogni che volano via."
