These two works are pair. Night and Day

A girl who wants to forward positively on floating ballon and a boy who has the lighthouse to give the light to someone who is in the dark.

She keeps a seagull and the dream of a bird means liberty, hope and longing. When I saw a ballon in my girlhood, I had a longing of liberty and hope.

He has the lighthouse, so I made a seagull that flies around the lighthouse in her hand.

The color of the ballon is soft and cute, because I want to express hope and longing. There is only a sitting girl from the front view of the work, but there is a ballon from the side view of it and I want people be surprised.

The skirt of a girl looks like the sky in the day, and there are stars in the night of the boy’s shirt. It means pair of our life.

He has the lighthouse that guide a girl. He wants to be the light just like the lighthouse. When I was young, I was sometimes worried and in a hard time. Then I dreamed that a boy showed me the way. When think about the guide of my life, I image a teenage boy.

I painted shinning stars on his shirt because the night is so dark and the light of the lighthouse is so bright, like the moon.

I painted the luminescence color on the bright part of the light house and his shirt, so it could be shine in the night.

If a girl forgot about time while flying on the ballon, she might lost her way. Then a boy guides her way.
